Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our Restaurants and Bars online marketing efforts.

The promotion of products and services through digital channels. These channels include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Google Adwords, Snapchat.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and digital creative communication. Must be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing revenue growth.

Must be Tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns.

Digital Marketing Executive will report to the Director of PR / Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Working with venue manager / F+B director and booking platforms to identify where venues need assistance (day or meal period) and working on planning successful strategic marketing plans to boost sustainable revenue.
  • Meeting with platform administrators monthly (within the first 5 days of the new month) to review / analyze performance and how to improve in coming months.
  • Ensure that all photographs, text and information is current and correct via regular digital audits on all IHG and external spheres.
  • Launching Food and Beverage Marketing initiatives in the following areas :
  • 1.With the restaurants (within the four walls) examples : bounce cards, business cards collection and use

    2.Local Catchment Area : such as flyers

    3.Social Media : Launching Food and Beverage campaigns using social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and any other popular platforms. Other examples : E-blast

    4.Participating in mass marketing campaigns through the use of radio and newspapers

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection and engagement with our guests using our Food & Beverage restaurants, Health and wellness facilities and Rooms.
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, facebook etc. to increase hotel brand awareness.
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletter and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
  • Manage and update hotel websites.
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Design artwork for promotional material and Food & Beverage Promotions
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date.
  • With the rest of the marketing & Communications team Act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy.
  • Monitoring return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns.
  • BSc / BA in Marketing
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Digital Marketing
  • Previous experience in Food and Beverage / Restaurants and Bars is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords, and email campaigns and SEO / SEM.
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in HTML coding is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Software Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Video and animated design knowledge is a plus.
