Ensure that the operation andits employeesply with thepany’s Health & Safety Policy / Proceduresat all times
To work with Yard Manager toset local indirect cost budget.
Maximise profit and controlcosts within agreed budget levels
Responsiblefor proper handling / storage of all materials and returns
Ensure key operation objectivesaremunicated to all staff and reviews via regular meetings
Work with Yard Manager tomaintain adequate fleet / stock levels to obtain the best possible utilisation
Ensure that all overtime isauthorised in advance and adequate supervision is arranged.
Ensure thepany’s QualityAssurance levels on standard of equipment are adhered to.
Ensure customer orders areprocessed in line withpany procedures.
Instil a customer focusedattitude at all levels and in all staff.
Ensure that all employees treatcustomers / visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Ensure that staff deals withcustomer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Ensurepliance to Investorsin People’ (IIP) Standards in line with thepany’s HR policy
Ensure that all employees fullyunderstand their job role, are appraised at least annually and receiveappropriate training as identified
Ensure yard personnel are fullytrained on all yard operations, ensuring they understand the requirements oftheir job roles in order to maximise job flexibility
Work to ensure best practice isadopted throughout the operation
Responsiblefor maintaining a clean and neat yard and for all yard security.
Work with others to resolvedisputes
Contribute to the improvementin the image of RMDK at the local level.
