  • To analyze all the credit proposals and provide suitable recommendation keeping the interests of the company.
  • Improve financial models for evaluating the viability of proposals if required.
  • Recommend policies and procedures to be adopted in relation to disbursements of loans for the review of the AGM- Operations & Controls.
  • Recommend allocation of disbursements into the different sectors including industry, trading and service and criteria for proposal evaluation.
  • Review prospects of individual proposals identified by the marketing department and submit reports to the AGM- Operations & Controls.
  • Advise the Management on the overall financial merits of the identified project.
  • Analyse the economic impact of the project in the region given the current industry status and other economic indicators.
  • Identify the key constraints relating to the vulnerability of the projects.
  • Present the results of the financial analysis to the authorized approval levels.
  • Identify the different modes of financing equity, term debt and working capital of the project and to make the requisite financial projections.
  • Shortlist professional consultants to support the company in the evaluation of major projects, as appropriate.
  • Prepare the terms of reference for the engagement of outside professionals for the evaluation purpose for the review and approval of the AGM-Operations & Controls.
  • Appoint the approved professionals, for the individual projects on the basis of Project Evaluation Budget.
  • Provide recommendations on all proposals approved by the Marketing Manager, on completion of evaluation and receipt of opinions and views from the respective professionals.
  • Liaise with legal advisor's for advice on legal aspects of a proposal / project and to make arrangements for the legal advisor's fees.
  • Initiate all correspondence in relation to projects and forward them to the Management.
  • Improve risk rating exercises whenever required.
  • Be aware of the industry in general so that propoer credit decisions are taken.
  • Ensure that all credit proposals put forward are based on sound credit principles maximizing business opportunities of the Company.
  • Ensure that department functions meet its target and manpower is been used in effective manner.
  • Ensure laid down credit procedures are followed and look for or recommend improvement of procedures and process.
  • Provide monthly / weekly report of business as required by Management.
  • Represent credit department whenever required in front of different committees.
  • Qualification & Experience :

  • The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA / CMA and having more than 5 years of working experience at a senior level in any Banks or Non-
  • banking Finance Companies.
