You support the HR Business Partner for the Distribution Centers in Sint-Niklaas in executing the HR strategy on Recruitment & Employee Development, Wellbeing & Absence Management and Employee Engagement for both white and blue collars.

You act as a contact person and sparring partner for the organisation (employees and leaders) by giving advice on these themes and by executing action plans following legislation, procedures and VF strategy and work environment.

You ensure a proper HR administration.

Employee Development

  • ensure optimal use of performance management tool and process
  • support management in drafting development plans for teams and individuals
  • give advice towards team leads and supervisors on performance meetings and discussing employee development
  • draw up and execute a yearly training plan, and actualize on regular basis
  • identify and define needs through meetings with team leads and supervisors, aligned with DC strategy
  • search for suitable trainings and programs internally and externally
  • organize trainings and follow up on participation level, evaluation of the training
  • deliver trainings on HR themes, including new employee induction trainings
  • Wellbeing & Absence Management

  • organize measurement of and reporting on absences
  • guide, follow up and improve reintegration process, working closely with employees and team leads
  • brainstorm, investigate, discuss, initiate and follow up on actions to promote a better working place
  • work closely with team leads and supervisors and Health & Safety department to follow up on actions / results
  • Recruitment

  • assist in and facilitate the recruitment process for white collar positions
  • perform a job and task analysis to draft job and profile requirements
  • prepare a job description and post a job advertisement through the appropriate recruitment channel
  • be the contact person for recruitment agencies and ensure a correct follow up of the vacancy by screening the CV’s and organize interviews with candidates
  • provide a timely and accurate reporting information on the recruitment process towards management in order to set the appropriate actions
  • assist in the recruitment process of blue collars, in close collaboration with the in-house provider of temporary workers
  • Administration & Projects

  • maintain human resources records in various systems by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, employee life cycle changes, time administration
  • responsible for reporting on HR KPI’s : analyse data and generate improvement ideas
  • give support in different projects on themes like Recruitment, Retention, Communication, Training & Development, Reward, and Employee Engagement
