Administratively responsible to the Operations Manager and functionally responsible to the Program Supply Chain Manager for the effective and efficient operation of a modified Category II Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) Satellite account.
Carries out all duties in accordance with DynCorp International ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards.
Co-ordinates selection and assignment of all supervisors based upon their experience and the company’s needs. Determines manpower levels as work requirements change, and reassigns personnel accordingly to gain maximum mission effectiveness.
Serves as the accountable officer for all War Readiness Material (WRM) equipment and supplies, FSE, AGE, and Peacetime Operating Stock (POS) accounted for on Enterprise Solution-
Supply (ES-S) records and maintains operational stock levels. Acts as the approving or certifying authority for inventory adjustments.
Ensures all supervisors are cognizant of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
Ensures a viable shelf-life inspection program is established to validate compliance with PWS.
Develops the internal inspection program within the supply account. Evaluates elements and functions and identifies / monitors corrective actions for discrepancies, ensuring proper operation and accountability.
Supervises and monitors the management and procedural application of manual or mechanized inventory control actions. Responsible for the inventory of all satellite account assets to include the development of the inventory schedule for POS assets.
Acts as the focal point for all Site Supply matters and reviews / disseminates all procedural changes to affected organizations and functions.
Maintains all procedural and ACO instruction pertaining to Site Supply operations.
Provide Program Supply Chain Manager Site Monthly activity reports for monthly HGI meeting
Reviews and analyzes the monthly Base Supply Management Report (M-32) as well as other Supply reports to help in identifying trends.
Performs computations and accumulates data for use in analysis. Makes appropriate recommendations and briefs affected functions and managers as applicable.
Develops work standards and methodology for subordinates. Implements the precepts of quality assurance within the guidelines set forth in the ISO 9001 program.
Ensures that all work is completed to this quality standard and provides employees with feedback.
Ensure all DD Form 2875s for ES-S access is reviewed by Supervisor for all personnel in his / her organization for submittal through ES-
S to Government agencies : Ensures all the blocks are filled out correctly as stated on the electronic form.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of modern principles of efficient materials management, movement and inventory control.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations; experience with import / export issues.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or associated discipline.
Four (4) or more years’ experience in a related field can be substituted for each year of the four year degree requirement.
Ten (10) or more years’ progressively responsible experience in materials management or related field.
Prior military logistics experience preferred.
Physical Requirements / Working Environment
Generally works in normal office environment, but may be required to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, to austere environments, under harsh living conditions.
Some positions will be assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous / harsh conditions.
