JOB DESCRIPTION INTERFACE WITH PRINCIPALS Negotiating the annual sales targets in consultation with DGM the principals in line with the internal budgets Interaction with the principals for prices availability and shipment of products Ensuring a proper product mix to get the desired GPs ACHIEVEMENT OF GROSS PROFIT SALES TARGETS Primarily responsible for gross profit targets Support the Sales team in achieving the sales targets on a monthly and yearly basis Allocation of the targets to the concerned sales persons in consultation with DGM and constantly following up for the achievements PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE Managing the entire product line life cycle to ensure product interest and growth PRODUCT FORECAST Responsible for preparing product forecasts and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses to ensure supply timelines PRODUCT PROCUREMENT Timely Submission of the procurement plan and ensuring uninterrupted supply of all products PRODUCT INFORMATION Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product This involves printed and electronic promotional material product training ADVERTISING Designing of advertisements in coordination with DGM and implementing the plan for the brand under his portfolio Also ensuring proper merchandising at the sales outlets by ensuring proper product displays correct pricing and highlighting promotions DATA ANALYSIS Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors products Collecting and analyzing historical sales data of the various products Obtaining inputs data from various sources Dealers Institutional customers and compiling them for building the forecast MARKETING CLAIMS Submissions and receiving the marketing claims on time MARKET FEEDBACK Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to new product launches and monitor the competition activities STOCK AGEING Monitor stocks on a regular basis and ensure that action is initiated to promote sale of slow moving stocks and liquidation of obsolete stocks TRADE SCHEMES Formulation Implementation assessment of consumer promotions trade schemes
