Scope of Responsibilities Promote a positive health and welfare culture in the workplace Ensure occupational health and Welfare objectives and requirements are consistently understood and implemented across the project Primary Duties Implement corporate objectives policies and procedures in designated areas of responsibility Drawing up effective occupational health practices Review and approval on employee s fitness for task Develop required health and welfare documentation for the project in accordance with corporate and client requirements Ensure Occupational Health and welfare requirements are identified and communicated to all relevant personnel in all designated areas of responsibility Verify compliance of occupational health medical services and welfare requirements by all appropriate means Performs health hygiene and welfare inspections in accommodations common areas kitchen recreation facilities working areas etc Provide medical advice and health awareness Coordinate and assist in Patient expatriate air evacuation Process of repatriation for deceased employee Coordinate medical emergency evacuation drill Participate in investigating and recording of incidents and accidents On call duty 24 7 for medical emergencies Clinic Functions Attends to emergency cases and provide emergency measures as directed by the doctor including the administration of emergency drugs C P R defibrillation etc Ensure that medical facilities are aligned with country legal requirements and that are properly implemented Initial patient assessment and gathering of personal and medical history Provision of first aid to employees Giving immediate care to injure staff and make decision as per the case Providing proper guidance and referral to the staff when further treatment is required Conduct health assessment for Petrofac staffs Escorting ill patients when required Maintain the clinic equipment and facilities in good working condition Maintain clinic inventory up to date meeting legal requirements Make the request of routine medical supplies Ensure all the clinic instruments are sterilized and set to use Follow company medical guidelines Provide basic first aid training Maintain records and provide guidance on vaccination requirements for frequent travellers Maintain accurate consultation records using Patient Record Management system Welfare Lead the workers welfare committee Follow up and ensure recommendations raised during welfare committee are adequately addressed and feedback is provided Ensure that provided welfare arrangements are aligned with corporate client requirements Coordinate recreational activities for the staff Ensure preoccupancy and routines inspections are conducted in the accommodations and offices Ensure there is an adequate provision of water that meets the necessary water quality standard Ensure that employees have access to sufficient quantities of nutritious high quality foods with wide range of food provided by the catered for the culturally diversified workforce Ensure that sufficient and suitable toilet and sanitary facilities are provided to all the workers and those are maintained in a good working condition
