Under the general guidance and supervision ofthe Human Resources Manager, the Hotel Nurse provides medical services for allemployees and guests in accordance with Hotel Policies and Procedures, andestablished medical practices.

  • Provide primary healthservice to all colleagues
  • Assess colleaguesvisiting the Hotel and Accommodation Clinic and give primary nursing care orarrange Doctor’s consultation if needed
  • Assist the doctor andperform doctor’s orders done in the Hotel Clinic
  • Provide First Aid whenthe need arise in the Hotel and Accommodation
  • Arrange medicalreferrals and ambulance transport for emergency cases
  • Maintain the recordsof daily and weekly statistics of colleagues’ clinic visits
  • Implement and maintainall administration regarding health care, sick leave documentation and medicalfiling for all employees.
  • Control the accuracyof sick leave authorization forms.
  • Coordinate sick leavereporting with other departments and update sick colleague’s condition tomanagers while maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintain hygiene ofthe clinic and its equipment
  • Ensure that all Oman Municipalityand Health Authority requirements are strictly followed
  • Ensure Health Cardrecords for all required colleagues are kept up to date
  • Assist colleagues whenwork related injuries arise from seeking medical care until workmen’scompensation claim
  • Promote / organizehealth and safety practices and programs
  • Purchase the adequatequantity of medical supplies from official supplies
  • Prepare expensereports for medical expenses, official taxi bills and claim reimbursements
  • Timely refill of FirstAid Boxes so they are adequately stocked
  • Provide primary healthservice to all employees and, if required, guests in the Hotel
  • Set up and conductsvarious training programs on personal hygiene, kitchen safety procedures, foodhandling, and basic first aid including defibrillator usage.

    Qualifications

  • A graduate of Bachelor’sdegree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
  • Attesteddiploma / degree certificate
  • 1-2 years' relatedexperience the hospitality sector and similar property is preferred.
  • Previous GCCexperience is required.
  • Display ofcomprehensive computer skills.
  • Well trained andskilled on the usage of medical equipment.
  • Must be wellacquainted with the emergency medical procedures.
  • Knowledge of hygiene,sanitation, Health & Safety aspects.
