Job Location

The Grand Millennium Hotel Muscat is the flagship of the Grand Millennium Brand. The Hotel is Shariapliant with seven (7) F&B outlets, spa and recreation and a total of 328 rooms and apartments.

It is located next to the Muscat Grand Mall.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to allmembers of the front office.
  • Implement and enforce excellence ofall area supervised
  • Deal withplaints, problem solving,disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
  • Ensure that staff members are fullyaware of relevant information concerning the hotel as well as promotions.
  • Handle the preparation of statistical,performance and forecast reports as necessary to facilitate annual budget &strategic plan preparation and provides management with marketing information ensuringthat all reports required by the government are sent.
  • Copy read all reports of all Front officepersonnel before submission to the General Manager.
  • Ensure quality is inculcated at alllevels of work in the department.
  • Handle personnel related matters suchas interviewing, appraising and consulting in various operational issues.
  • Monitor and control on an on-goingbasis department costs to ensure performance against budget.
  • Handle the associates performancemanagement and development of the team members.
  • Ensure quality is inculcated at alllevels of work in the department.
  • Monitor the duty roster of the staffand executes staff scheduling.
  • Frequently inspect for cleanliness andorderliness of the Lobby reception, Cashier’s desk and VIP rooms prior to guestarrival.
  • Routinely check billing instructionsand guest credit for accuracy andpliance with hotel credit policy ensuringthat the credit limit report is checked daily by Duty Managers.
  • Analyse and approve discounts andrebates.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum Three (3) years experience in Front Office
  • Experience in Five Star required
  • GCC experience is a must
