Prepare, implement andcompile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly SMARTS report, annual goals,sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed / required.
Develop rates, groupceilings and deployment strategies through review ofpetitive data, demandanalysis and mix management.
Recruit, direct, manage,train and counsel sales staff. Oversee departmental matters as they relate tofederal, state and local employment and civil rights laws.
Actively participate insales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
Direct and manage allgroup, transient, and catering / banquet sales activities to maximize revenue forthe hotel.
Conduct / attend dailybusiness review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetingsand other meetings as required / requested.
Manage / direct alladvertising, public relations and promotional activities.
Qualification / Job Requirements
University in DegreeBusiness Administration, Marketing and / or Hospitality.
At least 5 years minimum experience in Leadership position in Sales and Marketing.
Previous Luxury Hotel experience required.
Demonstrated sales performance track record and proven management as well as leadership skills.
Must display strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and administrative skills.
Pre-opening experience will be an asset.
