As a Restaurant Manager, you are responsible inassisting in running and organizing the operations of the restaurant under theguidance of the Food & Beverage Manager & Assistant Food and BeverageManager should be involved in the following function : working hand-

in-hand withthe Food & Beverage Manager & Assistant Food andBeverage Manager in planning, costing, delegation, evaluation, organizing,cost control, interviewing, selection, discipline, setting target, counselling,standards, appraisals, training, human relation, communication, coordination taking disciplinary actions toensure the appropriate staff productivity and efficiency, conducts dailybriefings and build relations with otherclientele.

Responsible for the smooth operation and production of goods andservices under his / her control and the resources available to him / her.

Keepinga constant eye on the standard of the ingredients, the meals, the restaurantenvironment and the service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager / Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in implementing high service standardsas per hotel procedure.
  • Represents the Restaurant in the daily F&Bmeetings and in other meeting where his / her presence is required.
  • Maintains employees’ attendance records, changes ofstatus and evaluates his / her staff periodically
  • Schedules staff duties according to forecast andspecial arrangements
  • Hold daily briefings to discuss various aspects ofservice, sources of complaints and transmits information that has been broughtto F&B meetings.
  • Ensures high standards of sanitation and hygiene
  • Promotes up selling at all levels and by personalefforts through guests contacts
  • Handling and advises the division of all guests’comments and complaints
  • Ensures that the operating equipment and generalsupplies for the restaurant are maintain at the establish par stocks andinitiates requisitions for additional supplies if necessary
  • Ensures tight control on all food and beveragestocks as per hotel standards
  • Maintains a written record of regular and VIPcustomer profiles, ensuring that their likes and dislikes are passed on toother concerned parties where necessary
  • Assure that all members within the team are correctlygroomed according to hotel standards
  • Performs are other duty as required by superior
  • Is confident in answering the phone according toagreed standards, being fully aware of booking procedures, including partiesand arrangements
  • Delegates duties when necessary
  • Co-operate with the company to achieve compliancewith FLS legislation
  • Take moral and legal responsibility for conductingthemselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk
  • Read, understand, and implement the relevant sectionsof the FLS Policy

    Qualifications

  • Hotel Management background / HM degreeholder / similar qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years hotel restaurant experience & guestservice oriented
  • Ability to communicate with the guests andanticipate their needs when it comes to serving them.
  • Well-groomed, neat and tidy at all times whendealing with guests directly.
  • Maintain the Standard, Quality of Service duringthe tenure with the hotel.
  • Responsible, Accountability, should have integritywhile dealing with the operations of the
  • outlet / dedicated, focus to detailsand have sense of Ownership towards serving guests

    and giving a greatexperience to the guests coming to the hotel.

  • Have prior GCC experience
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
