JOB PURPOSE :
The objective of this position is to supervise the commissioning of multiple projects through subcontractors and in-house teams.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the best industry practices to be followed while getting the job commissioned and in line with OES standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
To verify the concept designs prepared during estimation and sales and to develop the design and built solutions.
To liaise with the Solar team of Panasonic for Engineering and Procurement of items
To finalize vendors for installation of the projects.
Visit project sites regularly and monitor the installation of the solar projects.
To cross-check and verify installation of Solar panels, electrical cables, inverters and electrical panels in line with manufacturer approved designs and approved layouts by the consultant / engineer.
To liaise with the client representative and local.
DISCON engineers for smooth project completion and connection to grids.
To monitor cost to complete each project.
To prepare warranty certificates after completion of the project.
To periodically calibrate equipment used by the subcontractor and to ensure correct results.
JOB CONTEXT :
The purpose of this role is to handle the project management of solar PV projects. The role will also require supporting the sales estimation team to put together solar concept solutions.
The role also requires proper coordination and liaisoning with the electricity DISCONS like MEDC, Mazoon etc. The role will be responsible for successful commissioning and handing over of the project to the end user.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS :
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge :
A degree in renewable energy will be preferred.
Minimum Experience :
2 - 4 years of experience in solar grid-connected systems and should have handled 2 solar projects from start to completion.
