Work within the established Learning & Development departmentbudget.
Ensure that the costsassociated with external training providers are carefully handled. All externalparticipation in learning and development activities / studies are evaluated inaccordance to business demand and supported financially accordingly.
Comply with IHG HR Policies& Procedures by maintaining high standards and scores during corporateaudits / reviews.
Support the One Step Ahead journey by providing colleagues with thetools and knowledge of the Crowne Plaza brand.
Organise and conduct employee orientation in line with Brand Standards.
Actively promote Performance Management Culture and participate in allrelated training activities / processes.
Identify and analyze thetraining and development needs in the hotel, with input from Headsof Department and Departmental Trainers and prioritise such needs in line with the hotel businessplan.
Assisting the Headsof Department and Departmental Trainers to prepare training and developmentplans for their departments.
Prepare Learning & Developmentplan twice a year (January-June and July-December) and communicate it to alldepartments of the hotel.
Establish andmaintain training records for all on and off the job training courses.
Conduct corporateworkshops, trainings, refreshers for all colleagues of the hotel as per brandstandards.
Higher education qualification / equivalent plus 2 years ofrelated experience in Learning & Development. Some supervisory experiencealso preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible inall Human Resources-related matters. Ability to train, to influence, to listenand communicate well verbally and in writing.
